For today, anyway.
Have just put some of said blueberries in a yoghurt, am liking - am liking!
Was really looking forward to my lunch, really. Dreams of a cheese and tomato toastie that I have been having since approximately 2am this morning sourly turned into the reality of hot margherita wrap thing from Pret and it was disgusting. Horrid.
And so you can now find me picking at blueberries and supping on a Dr. Pepper Zero - as you can see my taste buds have matured with pregnancy. All I want is good old comfort food which usually contains cheese, and lots of it.
I am hoping tomorrow will be a green tea and oatcake day.
I'm continuing at the gym (after discussions with the Doc of course) and I am loving the 'you must listen to your body' advice. Nowadays it doesn't want to do much after 5 minutes, doesn't mind a bit of Aqua - but it regularly asks me to leave the gym early, demands rather.
Fabulous.
You will be pleased to hear that despite measuring in at just over the length of my thumb, my baby has toenails, tooth buds and peachy fuzz hair. Amazing.
I keep catching a glimpse of the diamond on my left finger and still can't believe it - I have since found out that S had been planning away for quite some time, pre-peachy fuzz, and if the ring had been ready he would have popped the question in the Grand Canyon. I am quite happy, however, that it was done in the comfort of my own kitchen with me still in my dressing gown!
I have a very busy couple of years ahead, baby, wedding, move - I am worried it will all pass me by like a flash of lightening. Most important thing is to enjoy every second of it and I am pretty sure I will! :o)
So lots of plans to make and boxes to tick, most of which will be commenced with full force after our holiday next month which I am also planning to enjoy to the max seeing as next year there will be a tiny addition to our tiny duo of a family!
Over a breakfast of strawberries, scrambled eggs, toasted muffins and fresh coffee S asked me to marry him. The ring is beautiful.
I have had the best birthday a girl could wish for.
Happy and content.
If you could eat anything you wanted, and not have to worry about gaining weight/being unhealthy/inhumane, what would you totally pig out on?

Pizza - every single kind of pizza known to man with double cheese topping, garlic bread (topped with cheese), garlic mayonaise and a pint of fat Coke.
am I having ridiculous dreams about my colleague selling my car and refusing to pick up Steve on the Motorway?
It always seems to happen about 10 minutes from alarm bell too - I was still angry with colleague when I came in this morning!
What are the 10 most memorable music performances you've seen? (Remember, "memorable" may not be good.)

In no particular order;
1) Coldplay at the Barbican - lovely, intimate venue and a prize win so even better.
2) Bryan Adams at Wembley 2001 - I loved it, seriously.
3) Barney Live at Wembley - a huge purple dinosaur, singing - priceless
4) Take That 06, Wembley - for the memories.
5) Live8 (some of it)
6) Michael Jackson - Dangerous Tour, Wembley (96 I think). Getting crushed
7) Bad Boys Inc/EYC at Capital Radio in the park or something years and years ago - I really did get crushed - pulled out of crowd and everything. Shit.
8) The Corrs, The Forum - simply lovely - not many of us there. I was 15.
9) Supergrass - Leeds Festival 01. Out of this world
10) Bugsy Malone (stage) when I was 5 - it changed my life.
I could go on....
…and Wednesday means dancing…
I am starting to really enjoy our ballroom dancing lessons, they're lots of fun which is great considering I said if I start getting competitive (Monica) and taking it too seriously then I would stop. It hasn't happened, yet.
On most Wednesdays I can’t be bothered to go and have to drag myself out of the door but its much easier now as we are on the improver’s course (having completed 10 wk beginners) and there aren't that many people left in the class. We're all getting to know one another and its good exercise - I also really love having a hobby with Steve and completely surprised how much he enjoys it - helps that another couple (and close friends of ours) are doing it to.
It is so strange as ballroom dancing is really not ‘us’, really but it kind of is now. Just shows that you never know until you try!
Have you tried anything new lately?
What's the last compliment you gave and/or received?

"I must say, you read the lesson beautifully"
I had a lovely weekend, the wedding was amazing, suitably emotional and the bride looked stunning. I got through the reading apparently, I appear to have blocked the memory.
I am so tired today though and really looking forward to some time off over Easter, we're doing some decorating though so I'm sure it won't be as relaxing as I want it to be. I am sure, however, I will appreciate the freshly painted walls and new carpet once it is all done
April is here meaning Birthday soon. Steve is being unusually sneaky and I feel a big surprise coming on and lots of people seem to be involved. I will have to wait and seeeeee.
Nothing more to add, instead of rattling on I will leave you to continue working (or not) through this beautiful afternoon.
Cheers!
